David Fitzgerald on 'Voyager' (8B+)

This film follows Irish climber David Fitzgerald (instagram.com/dv_fitzgerald), who after taking up the sport only 5 years ago travelled to the Peak District to try the hardest bouldering problems on grit. After sending Deliverance (7B+) and The Ace (8B) David set his sights on Voyager sit start (8B+). Voyager was set by Ben Moon in 2006 and had only been climbed by two others (Niccolò Ceria and Ned Feehally) before David. It is widely regarded as the hardest route on grit. David was filmed in the Peaks and in his home city of Dublin over the course of two months in spring 2017, while working on the route and training indoors. David is sponsored by MoonClimbing. Produced by Puzzleglass films Directed and Edited by Joe O'Connor Shot by Joe O'Connor and Sam Walker Soundtrack composed by Tom O'Connor Additional music by Hashfinger www.puzzleglass.com facebook.com/puzzleglass

Aqua Alta

We were lucky enough to be in Venice during the Aqua Alta. Which is when the lagoon rises and covers large areas of the city with water. The lowest area of the city Campo San Marco was totally submerged and the Venetians go about their business as usual. As we were on a shoot at the time, travelling across Europe making a climbing film we also had all our gear with us, so put this little edit together of a spectacular phenomenon. All shot on a A7s with a gimbal. 12mm lens and a 85 mm cine prime. Music by Greg Gold and India Farman
